TBPK Undip Students Achieve Success at the International Paku Bumi Open 14

Yogyakarta – Proud news has once again come from the Department of Technology and Business of Fisheries and Marine (TBPK), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Diponegoro University. Two TBPK students have achieved success at a prestigious international event, the 14th Paku Bumi Open International Championship, held at the GOR Lembah UGM, Yogyakarta.

The first student, Edy Mukhlisin, won 1st place in the Adult Combat Class B category. This achievement demonstrates excellent technical skills, physical strength, and competitive mentality in facing competitors from various regions and countries. Through disciplined training and high dedication, Edy was able to perform consistently and reach the highest podium.

Meanwhile, the second student, Rahmad Hasyim Al Amri, also delivered an outstanding performance by winning 2nd place in the Single Art Empty-Hand category. In this category, Rahmad performed a series of moves with precision, grace, and expression that impressed the judges. This success proves that TBPK students are not only excellent in academics but also possess competencies in the arts and sports.

The Paku Bumi Open International Championship is one of the prestigious pencak silat events, participated in by top athletes from various regions in Indonesia and abroad. This competition serves as a platform to hone skills while strengthening fellowship among silat practitioners. The Head of the TBPK Department expressed high appreciation for the achievements of the two students. This success is expected to inspire other students to continue developing their potential, both in academic and non-academic fields.
